About Davina Reid
I have always been interested in health and mental well-being, but initially graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology).
A husband and four children saw me working in hospitality as a cook and manager of restaurants for over 30 years, thereby understanding the importance of nutrition and getting the best out of food.
Illnesses present throughout the extended family led me to further understand the significance of diet and lifestyle on health.
As a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) graduate, I completed an intense four years of training in herbal medicine, nutrition, diet and lifestyle factors.
I am now accredited with the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and run a professional clinic in Rockingham.
Using these skills, I like to consider the person holistically; body mind and spirit. After evaluating your specific needs and lifestyle, I devise an individualised treatment plan based on scientific and traditional medicine approaches. This includes a strong emphasis on dietary and lifestyle choices, and education to achieve optimal well-being.

"Let Food be Thy Medicine and Medicine be Thy Food" - Hippocrates
"Pachamama" is the Inca goddess and benevolent deity "Mother Earth" who epitomises the idea that no living creature can survive without clean air, water and soil. "La Pachamama" signifies the interwoven connection between the goddess and all of nature.
The South Americans believe that problems arise when too much is taken from Pachamama. Balance is the key and may be achieved through naturopathic principles. The body is designed to heal itself and we work with you and guide you on this path to achieve health and vitality.
